We are Culligan of Pocatello, your water technology experts proudly serving Southeast Idaho. Our dealership specializes in providing water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, water coolers, bottled water, water filtering and softener salt delivery service to area homes and businesses.

CULLIGAN OF POCATELLO HISTORY

Culligan came to Pocatello, Idaho in the 1950s, then owned and operated by Kevin Culligan. In 1970 it was purchased by Clarence and Doyle James who had a background in water treatment, having previously sold the Lindsay brand in the area.

Clarence's son, Roger Jones, who had worked in the water business from his teenage years, began managing the dealership in the 1980s, eventually purchasing the dealership. Roger's son, Blake Jones, began at the dealership in high school, working as a delivery driver, installer, service tech and sales manager before purchasing the dealership in 2007. The dealership added Soft Water Service in 2015, and some of the Preston territory in 2018.

For over 70 years, Culligan of Pocatello's mission has been to deliver high-quality water treatment products and services that will benefit every part of our customers' lives. We hope to raise the quality of life by purifying its most essential element: water.

We've seen about every water problem imaginable and we're solving these problems to deliver the refreshing, clean and pure water that's become our hallmark. Water treated with Culligan softeners or filtration systems will make an impression on you and your household or workplace.

Our office is open and ready for in-person pick-ups from 8:00am to 5:30pm, but if you have any service or sales questions, we can be reached by phone 24/7.

    Excellent water at a competitive price. The counter staff is very friendly. With an easily accessible location, and optional delivery service, Culligan offers top quality water that our family has enjoyed for a few months now. Our tap water in town doesn't taste very good to us, so having a water dispenser with pre-filled water bottles is convenient. We don't have to go fill our bottles, only exchange them.

    We used culligan for two years or more. The coolers always leaked water on the floor. When we called for repairs they would bring another replacement cooler within a week. They would work for a couple weeks then start to leak again. I started keeping track of the machines and discovered they were just switching the two coolers back and fourth sometimes not even fixing them. We also had a water softener down in the basement. After dealing with them over and over with the water coolers we decided to just cancel the service all together. We called them to pick up our equipment when they told us to stop paying and the maintance guys would come get the equipment. Two years latter we still have the equipment in the house. After multiple times of trying to get them to come get the equipment we gave up. Today I went in with some empty bottles I found in a closet. I reminded them that we still had equipment for them to pick up. After checking into it on the computer the lady informed me that the account had been sent to collections and the equipment was now are responsibility. I stated just because your maintance guys failed to pick up the equipment it wasn’t my fault. She said they made multiple attempts to pick up the equipment. I can honestly say they never had a problem getting ahold of us when they switched out the coolers. They made no phone calls, sent no statements, or left any notices that they were at the house. Seems like a good way to force a sale on an unhappy customer to me. I WIIL NEVER SUPPORT CULLIGAN again. UPDATE:: upon learning of and reading this review the manager contacted my wife. He said he would have somebody at my house on 9/14/18. They showed up right on time and were very professional. The manager also told my wife they would reverse the collection process.
